Ah, that was a nice drive you took us on. I can’t imagine that much cold. I did go to Montana once in the winter and it was all covered in snow. it is lovely, but I agree with the dangerous part. I am glad I didn’t have to drive through the snow. I found a few horses that reminded me of first nation type horses. All I had for a treat as they came to the fence to greet me was strawberries and … they pulled their noses up at those. Now if I had apples, that might have been the beginning of a lovely friendship.
Happy Christmas.-
Christmas blessings to you too. Still very cool and haven’t been out this morning but they say it will warm up again over the next few days. As much as a 60° difference by next Friday.
I’m hoping to make a video or two today, something on Romans 3:21.
I’ve been writing but only in my journals. I’m doing long hand with my fountain pens these days, but I also use my laptop. I keep telling myself to write something for this blog. You keep giving me inspiration in that direction.

I am glad I inspire you to blog. I love your videos. You sound so calming and it feels like I’ve always known you. Maybe you were a brother in another life time. As to writing in long hand …I would say snap except I don’t know have my fountain pens anymore, but I have a very close copy. A pen with lose it flowing ink unlike other ball point pens. I and enjoying planning blog on long hand with this pen and then tying it on my laptop again. It blew up and after repairs I stopped using it. But its much nicer than tip fingering and dealing with auto correction and suggestion which is just nuts.
We have just pulled the house back into order after Henry’s family left. Now we will watch carols and things on TV until we cant anymore. I’m ready for bed myself. -
I will happily buy you a fountain pen and some ink if there’s a way to deliver it directly. Count it as a Christmas gift. Could I do this with Amazon in South Africa? Or some other online service? Of course you would need some good paper too. Pen, ink, and paper, as you know, are wonderfully tactile things when the combination is right.

Indeed. I had a number of pens and each had a different color ink in it. My journals were covered is ted corrections as more information adjusted my opinions and green she I was proved correct. Wrote them for my children and the in 1994 had to throw them away, about 25 books full of quotations and discoveries when we went to live in England. I lost everything I held dear in that move.

I’m sure there’s a way to get a fountain pen in your hand. I hate the idea of wanting one and not being able to have one. A writer’s thing, I know.
